The authoritative quality of any result and conclusion of the process of inference depends greatly on its ability to cause certainty.

 There are only two ways and no third one in which Qiyas could qualify as a valid Hujjah

 That Qiyas by itself would give one certainty, or

1. .Valid evidence prove it as qualified Hujjah, if Qiyas by itself would not give certainty.

 Therefore, the discussion would focus on each one of the above points.
